Challenge

The generation of a full vehicle model for Exterior Acoustics, including tires and bumper
faces.
This process must be reliable and consistent, so that it can be applicable to both a
trimmed body model, and a full vehicle model in the pre-processing phase.
The quality of the final model should be reflected and certified during all steps of the
process.

Approach
A model preparation, consisting of making
groups for wrap, ribs and unnecessary
parts removal, holes and gap fill, and leak
check is essential.
The main model procedure consists of
wrap, coarsen, intersections fix and solids
creation.
