Volvo’s “ultimate driving simulator”

Volvo Cars engineers are benefiting from what they describe as “the ultimate driving simulator”, a  mixed-reality simulator being used to develop safety and autonomous driving technology. The system uses cutting-edge technology from Unity and Varjo, to combine life-like, HD 3D graphics, an augmented reality headset, and a full-body Teslasuit that provides haptic feedback from a virtual world, while also monitoring bodily reactions
