Lidar startup Robosense, a leading supplier of the technology for autonomous vehicles based in China, has reportedly secured the largest single investment in the lidar industry of RMB 2.4 billion. The funding round is being led by China’s smartphone giant Xiaomi and includes “nearly half of China’s auto industry”.
