Euro NCAP has completed its workshop on approved test equipment for proving grounds. The results will be published soon in an official report in issue TB029 of the Technical Bulletin. As always, 4activeSystems was there with its soft crash targets and moving platforms – and it has announced numerous significant achievements that came out of the workshop.
The company’s 4activeFB-small mobile platform has been approved. The platform can officially be used in combination with VRUs like the EPTa and EPTc (pedestrian adult and child), EBT (bicyclist) and EMT (motorcycles), for testing up to 80km/h.
