Ansible Motion acquired by AB Dynamics
Advanced simulator business Ansible Motion has been acquired by AB Dynamics for £31.2m (US$34.4m), consisting of a £19.2m (US$21.2m) initial consideration and a £12m (US$13.3m) payment subject to meeting performance criteria.
Following the acquisition from its three shareholders – Kia Cammaerts, Jonathan Walker and Robert Stevens – Ansible Motion will join AB Dynamics’ portfolio which supplies state-of-the-art simulation technologies and services to the automotive industry and motorsport sector.
The newly acquired simulator business will sit alongside AB Dynamics’ newly formed AB Simulation division, which is responsible for the Advanced Vehicle Driving Simulator product range, and the simulation software provider rFpro.
