Euro NCAP announces best-in-class results for 2022
Safety and vehicle crash test organization Euro NCAP has revealed the vehicles that achieved the highest overall scores based on results from tests conducted on adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, vulnerable user protection and safety assist technologies.
The 2022 list features, for the first time, two cars from Tesla and two Chinese newcomers to the European market.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 was awarded best in class in the Large Family Car category; the Ora Funky Cat in the Small Family Car category; the Tesla Model S in the Executive Car category; the Tesla Model Y in the Small Off-Roader category; and the Wey Coffee 01 in the Large Off-Roader category.
