Kistler lowers noise threshold of its temperature-resistant accelerometer family

Kistler has upgraded its 8766A piezoelectric accelerometer family for measuring vibrations in environments with extreme temperature changes, such as near engines. The upgrade provides more accurate results.

Due to the improved IEPE circuit, these sensors now have a lower noise threshold for all ranges: the 50g range has a 53% lower noise threshold; the 100g range, 58%; and the 250g range has a 40% lower noise threshold.
