Volvo Cars outlines plans to establish new tech hub in Poland

Volvo Cars outlines plans to establish new tech hub in Poland

Situated in Krakow, Poland, the new tech hub will serve as a software development center, supporting Volvo as it works to become a fully electric brand by 2030 with leading in-house software development.

The Swedish OEM plans to use the tech hub for the development of complete and key features for its upcoming all-electric vehicles. Volvo aims to accelerate the development of software in key areas, including core safety technology based on the company’s understanding of accidents, perception and driver assistance algorithms and the required software to enable autonomous driving.
