Emitech Group invests US$10.9m in EMC test facility

French supplier Emitech has opened a new €10m (US$10.9m) test center for analyzing EMC of electronic equipment, as well as vehicle homologation and large system verification.

According to the company, it is outfitted with the largest (27m x 18m x 10.5m) and most recent Faraday cage built in France. Designed for electromagnetic compatibility test purposes, this resource enables evaluation against the UNECE R10 standard for EMC, of a wide range of vehicles and for the validation of large systems.
