VI-grade driving simulator installed at China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles Research Institute

A state-of-the-art cable-driven DiM400 driving simulator from VI-grade has been installed at the China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles Research Institute’s (CIVC) new engineering center in Beijing, China. Following a successful commissioning period, it is now available for rent by automotive OEMs and suppliers for intelligent chassis, intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving development.

Zhan Haiting, vice president of CICV, said, “The driver-in-the-loop approach is an advanced testing method to improve and validate intelligent and connected vehicles, and VI-grade’s cable-driven DiM400 driving simulator has high dynamic performance to support not only traditional chassis development but also cockpit optimization and intelligent driving.
