inTest receives major order for Thermonics Chiller testing solution that supports EV production

Test and process technology provider inTest has revealed that it has received nearly U$2m in orders from a major vehicle OEM for a range of Thermonics Chillers which have a cooling capacity up to 14kW at -40°C.

The Thermonics Chillers will be supplied by inTest’s Environmental Technologies Division to enable the OEM to test and develop high-powered traction inverters which manage the flow of energy from the battery pack to the motor in electric vehicles.
