4activeSystems unveils 4activeC2-SUV soft crash test dummy

4activeSystems has developed a new advanced vehicle dummy. The 4activeC2 SUV soft crash test target combines all of the benefits of the current official ENCAP C2 car target (Guided Vehicle Target – GVT) with a new structure.

4activeSystems states that the 4activeC2 SUV soft crash test target “challenges the newest and most advanced vehicle sensors and features” with its radar and visual properties the outcome of collaboration with industry leaders.

The target can be set up in approximately two minutes to maximize testing time and can be combined with the 4activeFreeboard-large to enable diverse testing programs to be conducted in line with related ISO standards.
