Project seeks to develop AI-based status monitoring of constant temperature equipment

Lauda and the Institute for Drive Technology (IAA) at Aalen University, Germany, are co-developing a prognostics and health management (PHM) system for AI-based status monitoring of constant temperature equipment at automotive test stations.

The project, funded by US$460,260 (US$460,000) from the InvestBW program from Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism, aims to further the capabilities of the Lauda.Live temperature control technology by increasing digitalization – enabling predictive maintenance – which will ultimately lead to a longer lifespan and better system reliability and performance.
