DTM: René Rast celebrates his first victory as a BMW M works driver – Sheldon van der Linde finishes second on the podium.

At the penultimate race weekend of the DTM season at the Red Bull Ring (AUT), the BMW M4 GT3 returned to the winner’s circle. René Rast (GER) celebrated his first victory as a BMW M works driver with a first-place finish in Sunday’s race. Prior to that, he broke Bernd Schneider’s (GER) DTM record with his second pole position of the season. With a total of 26 poles, Rast is now the sole leader in the all-time best list.
