Ground for new ideas: the incampus in Ingolstadt

Just a few years ago, it was still an industrial wasteland with heavily polluted soil, but today it’s a technology park with a wide range of possibilities. The site of today’s incampus in Ingolstadt has gone through a profound, positive transformation. With facilities like Audi’s new Vehicle Safety Center and the software company CARIAD’s biggest location at the incampus’s project house, a lot of work is being done here on the mobility of the future. The site’s complex soil remediation and innovative, well-designed energy concept make it a model project in terms of sustainability. Among the guests at the opening celebrations on September 15, 2023, were Minister-President of Bavaria Markus Söder and Mayor of Ingolstadt Christian Scharpf, as well as the CEOs of Audi and CARIAD.
