Amazon Expands Rivian Electric Vehicle Fleet

Amazon has doubled its fleet of Rivian Electric Delivery Vehicles (EDVs) to over 10,000 units. This indicates an increase in production at Rivian’s plant in Illinois. Amazon aims to have 100,000 Rivian vans on the road by 2030. The company has already delivered over 260 million packages with its electric vans in the US and is expanding its charging infrastructure. Amazon is also electrifying its delivery fleet globally, including in Germany.
