BYD’s New Vehicle Carrier to Transport 7,000 EVs in a Single Trip
BYD, a fast-growing car company focused on new energy vehicles, is constructing a car carrier ship that can transport up to 7,000 electric vehicles (EVs) at a time. The ship will be 200 meters long, fueled by LNG, and equipped with a battery and energy reduction devices. BYD has already delivered over 11,000 EVs in Australia and plans to introduce two more models in 2024, including a ute in the second half of the year.
