EV charge-point scheme begins in Dudley

Dudley Metropolitan Council in the UK is set to install 37 new on-street electric vehicle (EV) charging points across the borough. The £420k scheme is funded through a grant from the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles and a charge-point operator contribution. The charge points will be small and discreet, designed for residents who do not have their own driveways or access to off-street charging facilities. They will charge at 7kW, providing a full charge in approximately six hours.
