Next-gen CarPlay: Porsche and Aston Martin lead the way

Apple is working with Porsche and Aston Martin to develop the next generation of CarPlay, its in-car system. The new version will take up more of the vehicle’s display space, with Porsche’s mock-up including a separate box for navigation information and phone call details. Aston Martin’s version features a neater CarPlay arrangement. This collaboration indicates that Apple is working with select manufacturers to create a branded CarPlay experience.
