Keysight verifies Autotalks’ 5G V2X SoC

Connected vehicle technology company Autotalks has used Keysight Technologies‘ PathWave V2X solutions to verify the TEKTON3 vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system-on-a-chip (SoC) against the physical layer specifications of the 3GPP 5G New Radio (NR) Release 16 (Rel-16) Sidelink standards.

Sidelink, a feature of 3GPP Rel-16, facilitates direct communication between devices and supports next-generation 5G NR V2X Day 2 use cases, enhancing road safety through cooperative perception among vehicles.

Day 2 use cases like cooperative perception rely on robust physical layer communication, which defines the signals and channels crucial for stable and feature-rich communication.
