Infineon Technologies has launched the PSoC 4 High Voltage Precision Analog (HVPA) 144K microcontroller, designed to cater to the automotive battery management sector. Unveiled on May 3, 2024, the new microcontroller integrates high-precision analog and high-voltage subsystems on a single chip.

The solution aims to target the critical need for monitoring and managing automotive 12V lead-acid batteries, essential for powering vehicle electrical systems. The PSoC 4 HVPA 144K is ISO 26262 compliant, ensuring compact and secure intelligent battery sensing and management in modern vehicles.
