Vector and QNX collaborate on safety solutions for SDVs

Vector is to collaborate with QNX, a business unit of BlackBerry Limited, on achieving ASIL-D for software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

In this partnership, Vector will provide an integration of the QNX operating system, along with the necessary interface and safety case. The collaboration will enable OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to develop AUTOSAR-based applications using MICROSAR Adaptive Safe on the QNX OS for Safety.

This integrated approach benefits from pre-aligned and industry-certified safety concepts, enabling the creation of safe and high-performance systems for SDVs.
