Geely opens high-temperature testing facility in China
Geely has inaugurated its Turpan High Temperature Test Base, a facility designed for vehicle testing under extreme conditions. Covering an area of 1.3 million square meters, the Chinese base includes a 5km dynamic testing road and a 6km special testing road.
The facility will support various vehicle types, including oil-fuel, pure-electric, hybrid and methanol-powered vehicles. It is equipped with supercharging facilities that meet Chinese, European and American standards.
Thirteen high-temperature testing scenarios can be handled at the base, including urban square roads, serpentine square roads, highways and NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) special pavements.
