measX releases version 8.6 of X-Crash ATD software
Version 8.6 of measX’s X-Crash ATD software has been released. The main highlight of the update to the software, which is used to evaluate tests for crash test dummy certification, is a new evaluation for the advanced Pedestrian Legform Impactor (aPLI), a test device used in pedestrian protection tests to simulate the human leg. To support this, a new evaluation package was developed in accordance with ISO/TS 20458:2023. The software has also been updated to align with revised standards and norms.
