Göpel Electronic reports strong interest in its automated robotics test solution

At Automotive Testing Expo Europe in June, Göpel Electronic displayed a fully automated robotics setup for infotainment testing, which is now available to purchase.

The company believes this confirms the high demand for automation in test stands in general. The trade fair demonstrator was said to be a real visitor magnet, enabling visitors to gain a better understanding of what an automated test cycle involves.

The solution incorporates a robot with a haptic finger, including sensors and a camera for optical verification and was used to showcase how a display in the cockpit of a vehicle might be tested using this technology.
