OxTS enhances AV validation with Nvidia Drive plug-in

OxTS has announced that its GNSS-aided Inertial Navigation Systems RT3000 series plug-in is now supported on the Nvidia Drive platform, enhancing AV validation. The plug-in runs on the Nvidia Drive AGX Orin developer kit.

Nvidia Drive leverages the Drive Orin system-on-a-chip, and can process up to 254 trillion operations per second (TOPS) from a range of sensors, including cameras, lidar and radar, the company says.

Developed in-house using the Nvidia DriveWorks SDK, the plug-in enables developers to feed OxTS GNSS/INS data into Nvidia Drive to access highly accurate reference localization information, says OxTS, which supports the validation of other sensors or algorithms being tested.
